Thomas Valianatos is a founding member of the artistic Audiovisual collective “Pixel Pulse” where it was founded in Athens in April 2022 and is surrounded by visual artists, musicians and poets. The group’s main research object is the coupling and dialogic relationship between image and live sound through New Media & digital tools, presented live, in real-time on the subject of synaesthesia, the investigation of randomness, rhythm and the abstract.
“Pixel Pulse” moves in experimental audio-visual fields, exploring live electronic sounds based on improvisation and studying ways of producing Live Visuals based on Music Visualization, Generative Art, audio-interactive visuals, A.I., projection mapping, live coding, real time video.
The aim of the artistic group is to present a series of live audiovisual performances giving the audience a new audiovisual experience that is delimited in the wider context of Expanded and Live Cinema and Live Music Visualization.
To date, the group has performed 5 live audiovisual performances at TAF (The Art Foundation), Π6 (formerly Chimeres_space), Tv Control, Romantso and Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF 2024).
