Evangelos Aslanidis

Evangelos Aslanidis is an Athens GR based producer, musician and visual artist. While having participated in various greek indie bands and working as a sessionmusician on several projects, Evangelos was simultaneously working on his own material, exploring new production & music writing techniques. Over the last years Evangelos has morphed into an audiovisual system where he combines his musical creations with visual art elements. Music and audio has become one structure and lately Evangelos explores visual programming, audio reactivity, coding, 3D game engines, 2D as well as mixed visual techniques, while his main tool of exploration is TouchDesigner software.

Currently, Evangelos is finishing his postgraduate studies at the Ionian University (GR), in MA: Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age program.

In 2024 he participated at Athens Digital Arts Festival as a member of Pixel Pulse Collective, presenting a live audiovisual performance, mapping and projecting on the building of Former Santaroza Courthouse in Athens, Greece. In 2023 he participated in a 7-Day workshop & VR exhibition at The Greek National Opera which focused on further broadening the relationships between architecture and music & space and sound through the use of new digital media. In 2022 he launched his first artistic exhibition featuring solely visual extractions. In “φ gital” he presented 6 digital prints on large scale canvases, giving physical existence to his digital art.
