Thomas Valianatos (born in 1972, Athens) attended Athens School of Fine Arts, receiving a B.A. in Painting in 2003 and a M.A. in Digital Arts in 2006. VJ-Camp Digilog 2024 – Agenda

01/09/24 – 15/09/24 in Stravas, 20300 Loutraki, Greece. Originally I wanted to share the experiences of this greatly inspiring landscape and region here in the hinterland of Loutraki. Now Digilog is a mix of holidays and livestyle expression of audio and video artists, within the locally offered oportunities and challenges. All in the form of a laid back spontaneous come together to have creative workshops, while still slightly structured by a programme.

Katia Vonna Beltran

Katia Vonna Beltran is a nomadic artist, photographer, video maker and performer whose practice is essentially focused on Live Cinema. As an “Artivist”, she takes up ecological and political issues and explores the notion of Fragility and actions of social Resistance. She brings together collected objects and her own photographic vision. Using a hybrid audiovisual device, mixing low-tech and digital this whole universe comes to life creating a live cinematic story. By diverting and repurposing objects and images, she is questioning our way of living and inhabiting.

Kurt Komell

Kurt Komell is one of the founders of the 1st Thuringian VJ Crew Queps in 1998. In the first years of the crew, they played the technofloors in southern Thuringia and Erfurt. Early on, Kurt showed an interest in processing real videos and live cameras.

In his work as a video artist, he has performed over 600 shows with various music styles such as techno, dubstep, ska, house, rock, ambient, electro-acoustic composition. From the small club and small projection area with 300 people to large events with LED-WALL as the main artist in front of 50.000 people.

Evangelos Aslanidis

Evangelos Aslanidis is an Athens GR based producer, musician and visual artist. While having participated in various greek indie bands and working as a sessionmusician on several projects, Evangelos was simultaneously working on his own material, exploring new production & music writing techniques. Over the last years Evangelos has morphed into an audiovisual system where he combines his musical creations with visual art elements. Music and audio has become one structure and lately Evangelos explores visual programming, audio reactivity, coding, 3D game engines, 2D as well as mixed visual techniques, while his main tool of exploration is TouchDesigner software.

Closing concert at the Amphitheater

2024’s public spectacle with live video art performances (VJing) to electronic music, live-sets and dancable Electro-Rock. It happened Friday the 13th September in the venue «Pantelis Zervos*», which is located in a park above the city of Loutraki. On this evening the results of the Digilog live performers come-together have been shown.
