Sophia Liarou is a visual artist and an experimental sound designer who tries to narrate imaginary stories in all possible dimensions.
- 2001 Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001 with professor Giorgos Golfinos.
- 2022 Graduate of the MA “Graphic Arts and Multimedia” EAP
- 2016 Participation in the group exhibition for the year of Aristotle at MEGARO MOUSIKIS ATHENS “Ancient Iketis – Contemporary Refugee” with the video “The Concept of Dilion Problem”
- 2017 Distinction in the video art competition section of the 6th Athens International Digital Film Festival AIDFF with the video “The Concept of Dilion Problem”.
- 2017 Participation in the exhibition 2nd Artecitya Art Science Technology Festival by Helexpo 2017 with the video “Future Residencies”.
- 2017 Participation in the exhibition Petit Paris d’Athenes – the small Paris of Athens with the video “Debris” 2017.
- 2018 Participation with the video “Debris” as part of Video Art Miden at the Fonland digital arts festival held at the Water Museum, in Portugal and at the Archaeological Museum of Messinia.
- 2019 Participation in the 2nd International Art Forum, Dammam 2019 in Saudi Arabia with the video “Tessellation Automata”.
- 2021 Participation in the 3rd International Art Forum, Dammam 2021 in Saudi Arabia with the video “Brown Movement 2021”.
